Wagonload of Lima Beans at Southwest Warehouse
The Southwest Warehouse on Colorado Avenue, between 17th and 19th Streets, stored and sold products like grain, feed, flour and coal. The tractor pictured here is hauling two wagon loads of lima beans that were harvested north of Wilshire Boulevard. In 1916, Charles J. Haines was the proprietor.
