The Golden Bull Steakhouse
Opened in 1949, the Golden Bull restaurant has played host to the likes of Tennessee Williams, Truman Capote, and Christopher Isherwood. A haunt for Hollywood elite and the Canyon's bohemian coterie, the Golden Bull also welcomed openly gay clientele from an early date. It is still a popular spot.
