Crescent Bay Lodge Masonic Hall
Founded in 1910, the Masons were a popular fraternal community group. In the 1930s and 1940s, the Hall was a go-to location for African American parties and social events, as the only large, local gathering space that welcomed them. This image shows the group's mortgage burning celebration.
